Foam Mattress Options

Practical Solutions for Camps, Colleges, Health Care, and Budget-Friendly Applications

At Rest Assured Mattress Co., we understand that some facilities prefer foam mattresses because they are lightweight, easy to move, and work well in applications such as bunk beds, cabins, children’s camps, college housing, healthcare settings, and short-term accommodations.

While we are best known for our coil support systems, we also offer foam mattress options designed to fit a variety of needs, comfort preferences, and budgets.

We use CertiPUR-US® certified foam because we believe the materials inside a mattress matter just as much as the comfort and support it provides. CertiPUR-US® certified foams are tested for content, emissions, and durability standards and are made without ozone depleters, formaldehyde, mercury, lead, and certain harmful flame retardants.

For us, using certified foam is another way we focus on providing cleaner, dependable materials for camps, colleges, healthcare facilities, and everyday customers.

Helping You Choose the Right Mattress

Every facility has different needs. Some customers prioritize lightweight mattresses that are easy to move and ideal for seasonal or high-turnover housing, while others prefer a higher-density feel that provides additional support and helps prevent sleepers from feeling like they are “bottoming out.”

Foam mattresses can be a practical option for bunk beds, cabins, dormitories, healthcare settings, and other applications where weight, setup, and budget are important considerations. With multiple thicknesses, densities, and firmness levels available, we help customers compare options to find the best fit for their application, comfort preferences, budget, and expected lifespan.

Wet-Proof Cover Options

We offer wet-proof cover options designed for high-use environments where cleanliness, moisture protection, and easy maintenance are important. These covers are commonly used in camps, cabins, dormitories, healthcare settings, and guest housing applications.

Available options may include:

  • Waterproof nylon covers
  • Zippered covers for easy replacement and cleaning
  • Traditional seam and inside seam construction options
  • Inside seam options are designed to help reduce areas where bed bugs may hide
  • Durable materials designed for repeated use

Because we manufacture our mattresses in Rochester, Minnesota, we can offer different cover and seam configurations to meet the facility's needs.

Why we use a nylon cover

We prefer nylon wet-proof covers because of their durability, flexibility, and performance in high-use environments. Our nylon covers are fluid-proof, antibacterial, anti-fungal, non-allergenic, odor-free, and anti-static, making them a practical option for camps, dormitories, healthcare facilities, cabins, and guest housing. They are also cold-crack resistant for use in non-heated cabins and seasonal environments while helping protect the mattress from moisture and everyday wear. In addition, our wet-proof covers are designed to meet 16 CFR 1633 flame-retardant standards.

Every mattress is assembled at our factory in Rochester, Minnesota. Once the foam is cut to size, our team installs the foam core into the mattress cover and inspects the fit and finish before the mattress is sealed and prepared for delivery.

Because we manufacture on-site, we are able to offer different foam densities, cover options, seam styles, and custom sizes to meet your needs.
